Passing Squall

Sometimes everything comes together just
right in a watercolor such as this, and the result
looks so simple and easy. This was my first
shot at this subject- they don't always work
out so well the first time. On occassion, when
I'm trying to develop a complex composition,
I may have to repaint the same picture many
times in order to understand it fully and solve
any technical problems along the way. Then
my final version, the one I show, can look as
"effortless" as this one appears to be.
